Una the Mermaid is available for community events, festivals, private events, individual encounters, swim parties, and more! Please see information below to find the encounter that best suits your needs. 

Covid-19 Safety

Una the Mermaid is currently wearing a face mask for all non-swimming/ indoor events and parties. Outdoor,  social distanced meet and greets, and live tanks shows are also still available for booking! Una is also available for virtual parties and  encounters! Please inquire for more details! 

Parties & Events

Una is available for private parties and/or community events. Activities include but are not limited to: private birthday parties, book readings, and/or themed social gatherings.  Una  offers  a wide variety of entertainment services catered to your specific event needs.  Services can include: mermaid meet & greet, story telling, games, bubbles, mermaid camp, mermaid tea party, and photo opps. Upon special request,  Pirate Randy Rackam is also available for events wanting both a mermaid & a pirate.  Please inquire for more information! 

Individual Encounters  

Individual encounters offer a more personal, and intimate experience of getting to meet a real mermaid. Individual encounters can be arranged as a surprise in a natural setting such as a beach, or lake. Settings might also include a beautiful fountain, or a private residence. This encounter is ideal for those interested in providing a magical one-on-one experience with  personalized attention. 

Wellness Visits

One of the things Una loves most is being able to offer joy and magic in times of great need. Visiting sick or disabled children, the elderly, or others in need of some magic and cheer is one of Una's top priorities. Una never ever charges for such visits! If you would like to arrange for an in person, or virtual  wellness visit for someone in need just send a message! Visits and engagements are based on feasibility and schedule compatibility. 

Tank Encounter

The live tank show is a unique, one-of-a-kind mermaid encounter experience perfect for community and private events. The mermaid tank consists of 900 gallons of water, and is a fintastic draw for your event! The live tank show requires a minimum of a full day booking. Most events are 1-3 days in duration. Please contact to inquire on pricing and event logistics.  We have COVID -19 safety protocols and are able to provide a safe outdoor entertainment experience! Festivals 

The Traveling Fanta-Sea Cove is a highly interactive installation best suited for  larger events and festivals. This installation is highly versatile in its aesthetic appearance and can be set up as a dry land experience or with water. The Traveling Fanta-Sea Cove offers a variety of activities with several merfolk of the cove and can include: merfolk meet & greets,  splash encounters, games, story time, mermaid mythology, mermaid magic, oasis lounge, and more. 

Swim Parties 

Una the Mermaid is available for swim parties. Swim parties can take place in a public or private pool. This service includes a one hour swim with Una  in the water.  
Health and safety are a top priority: 
  • All swimming participants in the water must be able to swim unassisted, and be able to stand with their head above water in the shallows. 
  • Parents must accompany children 4 and under  in the water at all times.
  • There must be one designated adult  or life guard on watch duty for the duration of the swim party.
  • Children are NOT to wear swim tails in the water.
  • Limit to 10 guest participants with an option to add more guests.  

Booking Information

All bookings require a 20% deposit to hold your reservation date, with the remainder due the day of your event. Deposits are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your event due to illness, inclement weather or other emergencies, you may reschedule your booking for a different date per scheduling availability. It is recommended you book events a minimum of 3-4 months in advance to have a better chance at getting your desired date, especially during high season.  

Fee Structure

TRAVEL: Una the Mermaid  does not charge for travel for any event held within 25 miles of the Portland Metro-Area. Travel rates outside the 25 mile radius will vary depending on distance, and length of stay for event. 

SET/UP & TAKE DOWN: Entertainment services which require a minimum of one hour or more to set up/take down (props, installations) are billed in accordance with time and labor. Una the Mermaid provides unique and quality entertainment experiences. Creating a unique and magical experience is worth fair compensation. 

TIPS: Not required, but greatly appreciated.
